This article presents the results of an empirical study of the needs, motivational factors, and educational demands of military personnel during their professional reintegration into civilian life. The relevance of this study stems from the growing number of individuals returning to civilian life after participating in combat operations and the need to establish effective mechanisms for their social and professional adaptation. Based on a survey of military personnel, the study identified the characteristics of their professional orientations, their level of readiness for training and retraining, as well as the key factors influencing their choice of future profession. It was found that the dominant needs are for stability, security, and financial security, reflecting the prioritization of basic life values in the context of traumatic experiences. At the same time, a desire for self-actualization, autonomy, and flexible working conditions was identified, indicating a gradual restoration of the individual’s internal resources.
It has been established that the professional reintegration of military personnel should be viewed as a comprehensive psychosocial process that combines adaptive, motivational, and educational components. It has been determined that the effectiveness of this process largely depends on the organization of psychological support aimed at overcoming the consequences of traumatic experiences, developing adaptive behavioral strategies, and supporting professional self-determination. The importance of mentoring, psychological support, and the use of blended learning formats as key conditions for the successful integration of military personnel into the civilian professional environment has been demonstrated.
