The modern application of phonetic transcription requires educational practice to abandon the isolated teaching of the symbolic system and begin the comprehensive formation of phonetic literacy. This involves the active introduction of multimodal and digital resources, the continuous improvement of teachers' methodological competence, and the development of integrated approaches to pronunciation that meet the current needs of modern language education. Overall, the results of the study confirm that transcription is not an outdated teaching tool, but an important element in the formation of linguistic and cognitive competence. Its use promotes the development of awareness in language learning, forms the skill of sound analysis, and strengthens motivation to improve pronunciation. Particularly significant is the combination of transcription with modern digital tools, which make the learning process more interactive, flexible and accessible.
The integration of transcription into foreign language teaching should be viewed as a complex task involving pedagogical, cognitive and technological components. Only through their coordinated interaction can transcription become an effective tool for developing pronunciation skills and forming conscious foreign language proficiency in the context of digital education. Prospects for further research are related to the study of the influence of neuropsychological factors (perception of sound patterns, short-term memory, attention) on the acquisition of transcription, as well as the development of interlingual learning models that take into account typological differences in phonetic systems. In addition, an important direction is the creation of hybrid educational platforms where transcription will be used in conjunction with visual and audio resources, as well as elements of gamification and virtual reality.
