Abstract

The article explores the problem of inclusive physical education as a crucial component of modern pedagogy, aimed at ensuring equal opportunities for children with special educational needs. Physical education is presented not only as a means of physical development but also as an effective tool for socialization, emotional well-being, and the formation of communication skills.

The psycho-pedagogical dimension is emphasized as central, since it provides adaptation of children to the educational environment and supports their integration into collective activities. Inclusive physical education is defined as a multidimensional process that combines pedagogical adaptation of programs, psychological support for motivation and self-esteem, and social aspects of cooperation and tolerance.

Practical implementation requires differentiated methods, individualized and group forms of work, creation of success situations, and active collaboration with parents. Challenges such as insufficient material resources, lack of teacher training, and societal stereotypes are identified as barriers to effective inclusion.

An important aspect is the preparation of teachers for work in an inclusive environment. The effectiveness of physical education largely depends on the professional competence of the teacher, their ability to apply differentiated teaching methods, take into account the individual characteristics of children with special educational needs, and create an atmosphere of trust and support. Improving teachers’ qualifications, developing specialized training programs and methodological materials are essential conditions for the successful implementation of inclusive practices.

In addition, inclusive physical education has significant potential in shaping the values of tolerance and mutual respect among all participants in the educational process.

Prospects for development include the use of innovative technologies, adaptation of international practices, and systematic state support. The article concludes that inclusive physical education is a key instrument of social integration and harmonious personal development, and its successful realization is possible only through a comprehensive psycho-pedagogical approach and coordinated efforts of all participants in the educational process.
