PSYCHOLOGICAL MEANS OF CORRECTION OF NEGATIVE EMOTIONAL STATES IN STUDENTS WITH TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES

The article states that students with traumatic experiences need professional support from a psychologist, since negative emotional states, psychosomatic disorders, and emotional tension lead to a disruption of their activity. It is indicated that students with traumatic experiences who have neurotic disorders should combine treatment with a doctor with psychological correction. A general analysis of psychological means of correcting negative emotional states in students with traumatic experiences is presented. The essence of psychological correction is revealed. It is noted that during psychocorrectional work, the psychological deformation of the personality is eliminated or psychological difficulties that do not allow the student to self-actualize in life are eliminated. The main types of psychocorrectional work are presented, namely: conversation, individual and group psychological correction, psychotraining, consultative work with the family. The main tasks of psychocorrection and indications for conducting individual and group psychocorrectional work are described.
It is noted that the main task of psychocorrection and counseling is to compensate for existing developmental disorders in a student with a traumatic experience, improve the functioning of mental processes, and help resolve intrapersonal conflicts. The importance of ensuring the most friendly atmosphere, spontaneous self-expression of each group member, and the availability of group support is noted. Various methods of corrective influence in the process of overcoming negative emotional states in students with traumatic experiences are shown. Attention is paid to the independent work of students with traumatic experiences on changing negative emotional states by means of psychological self-regulation.
