PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF THE MANIFESTATION OF EMOTIONAL BURNOUT OF LOGISTICS SPECIALISTS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of manifestation of emotional burnout of logistics specialists, reveals the essence of the phenomenon of emotional burnout, considers its factors and symptoms through the prism of professional duties of logisticians and the specifics of their performance. The main attention is paid to the allocation of the main components of emotional burnout of logisticians (personal, motivational and behavioral), where the first is associated with individual psychological characteristics of a person (emotional stability, self-awareness, ability to adapt in difficult situations), which determines the degree of perception and processing of stress factors, as well as their ability to cope with professional challenges. Important aspects of this component are the presence or absence of emotional self-regulation, a tendency to self-criticism or self-blame, which can contribute to or, conversely, hinder the development of emotional burnout. The second explains the dominant motives for job satisfaction, as well as internal incentives that contribute to or hinder professional success. Awareness of the purpose, meaning of professional activity, as well as personal goals and values directly affect the level of job satisfaction, where the latter can lead to an increased risk of emotional burnout. The latter reflects the external manifestations of emotional burnout, such as changes in behavior, which can be noticeable both to the person and to his or her environment. This becomes critical for understanding and identifying emotional burnout, as it is through changes in behavior that a professional or others may first notice a developing problem. The hierarchy of factors influencing the development of emotional burnout of logistics professionals is determined.
