STUDY OF PSYCHOLOGICAL CONDITIONS AND FACTORS AFFECTING THE LEVEL OF PERSONAL READINESS FOR MARRIAGE

The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of psychological conditions and factors affecting the development of the marriage potential of an individual. The paper analyzed theoretical approaches and conducted an empirical study aimed at determining the key psychological factors that shape readiness for marital and family relations. Particular attention is paid to the influence of parents on the formation of young people's ideas about marriage and the choice of partners. It has been studied that the emotional closeness between children and parents, family relations between parents and siblings, parental education are of key importance in the development of readiness for marriage of a future family member. The influence of modern media on the formation of the psyche of children and youth is also considered, and the influence of social networks, especially bloggers, on the formation of young people's ideas about marriage is taken into account.
On the basis of theoretical research, 19 psychological conditions and factors affecting the formation of a personality as a potential family member were determined, and then it was proposed to rank them according to the degree of influence on 80 respondents of different age, gender and social status. In order to ensure objectivity, during the empirical study, 16 experts were involved - practicing family psychologists and scientists, who ranked psychological conditions and factors according to the degree of influence on the marriage potential of the individual.
Thus, the article presents a holistic view of the psychological conditions for the formation of an individual's marital potential. The results of the study can be useful for practicing psychologists, family counselors, as well as for the development of programs to prepare young people for family life and the formation of healthy marital relationships.
