Abstract

During wartime, mental health suffers for everyone, but for military personnel who have been in combat zones, this issue is particularly acute. Nearly every one of them needs assistance, even if they appear to be fine from the outside. That is why the state provides them with the opportunity to receive a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services free of charge. Psychological rehabilitation of military personnel involves various measures aimed at improving and restoring the mental functions of the body. Successful and timely implementation of this rehabilitation allows individuals to adapt more quickly to civilian life and avoid many issues that often arise for those with combat experience.

Psychological rehabilitation of military personnel is a critically important component of the recovery process after participation in combat operations. This process is crucial for reintegrating military personnel into normal societal functioning or ensuring their continued ability to carry out combat duties. The article discusses key aspects of psychological rehabilitation during the recovery phase, including specific methods and approaches used to support mental health.

Particular attention is given to the needs of military personnel following their return from conflict zones and the challenges they face, including stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and social isolation. An important aspect of the article is the analysis of practical recommendations for effective rehabilitation of military personnel, which help reduce stress and improve overall well-being. The necessity of a comprehensive approach that includes psychological support, social adaptation, and medical assistance is also discussed. The article emphasizes the importance of developing and implementing comprehensive rehabilitation programs that contribute to the successful recovery of military personnel and their reintegration into active societal life.
