Abstract

The article presents the results of an experimental study of the formation of professional plans among students of pedagogical colleges. It is noted that the study of professional plans constitutes a strategy of human social behaviour in all diverse spheres of life. They relate to the acquisition of a certain social status, mastering a certain level of education in a particular profession, moving up certain stages of the social hierarchy (building a career), a certain type of migration and entering a certain social environment, as well as choosing friends, getting married, starting a family. According to the results of the formative experiment, statistically significant positive changes were recorded after the application of the set of methods and procedures defined in the author's programme, combined within the framework of educational and developmental training work, which provide a targeted impact on the structural elements of the functional and psychological model of professional planning of pedagogical activity. At the same time, the functional-psychological model of professional planning is understood as a targeted impact on the personal structural components of professional planning (reflective, motivational, operational) with the aim of forming an internal psychological position that recognises the positive direction of the student's perceptions of himself/herself as a subject of the professional path, able to overcome typical difficulties and barriers of pedagogical activity with the help of his/her own personal experience and resources, development of skills of self-directedness of professional development problems and readiness to overcome them, skills of pedagogical organisation of own professional activity in the projected conditions of professional career realisation.
