STUDY OF THE MANIFESTATION OF ANXIETY STATES PSYCHOLOGIST STUDENTS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of anxious states of psychology students. In the article, anxiety states are considered as states of emotional discomfort associated with the expectation of trouble, anticipation of danger, and have an adaptive nature and are a psychological signal of the student's inadequacy in relation to a certain type of situation. States of anxiety in students reflect their most significant social needs, and the level of anxiety indicates the student's internal attitude to the situation and the peculiarities of relationships with others.

The results of an empirical study of the psychological features of the manifestation of anxiety states in psychology students are described. The results of the diagnosis of states of anxiety, aggression, frustration and rigidity in psychology students were analyzed. It was found that most students have medium and high levels of anxiety, frustration and aggression. The research results indicate fatigue, tendency to aggressive behavior, perception of a wide range of situations as threatening and difficult to overcome, irritability, frequent change of interests, goals and low organization of activity in psychology students. It was found that in the majority of future psychologists, states of rigidity are found at medium and low levels.

The features of reactive and personal anxiety of psychology students are analyzed. The dominance of medium and high levels of situational anxiety and personal anxiety was determined. The results of the study indicate that students experience emotional discomfort. A comparative analysis of the level of general anxiety of psychology students by gender was conducted. The predominance of female psychologists with a high level of anxiety over male psychologists was revealed.
