Authors' Instructions
MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Articles, reports on scientific events, and activities that correspond to the journal’s profile are accepted for publication. Each article обязательно undergoes anonymous peer review. Materials of a problem-oriented, innovative, and generalizing nature that have not been previously published are accepted. The author of the article is responsible for the accuracy of the presented material, for the authorship of the material, and for the correct citation of sources and references.
Articles authored by Doctors of Sciences, Candidates of Sciences (PhD), academic and research staff, doctoral students, postgraduate students, as well as persons with higher education engaged in scientific and practical activities are accepted for publication. Authors without an academic degree submitting single-authored articles must provide a review from a Doctor or Candidate of Sciences in the relevant specialty.
To publish an article, please submit:
- information about the author (First name LAST NAME, place of work, academic degree, academic title, email address, ORCID; for postgraduate students – First name LAST NAME, place of study, email address, ORCID);
- an electronic version of the scientific article.
IMPORTANT!
Publications in the journal “Psychology Travelogs” are issued in Ukrainian and English. The length of the article should be 10 to 12 pages, including figures and tables; the publication fee is 800 UAH (for 10–12 pages). Each additional page is charged separately at 50 UAH. The publication fee covers expenses related to peer review, proofreading and editing of articles, layout of the journal issue, and placement of its electronic version.
Students of Khmelnytskyi National University publish the results of their scientific research free of charge.
Articles translated using online services (such as Google Translate), unedited, or not compliant with the current requirements will not be accepted for publication and will not be returned.
Manuscript Parameters:
- number of co-authors – no more than three;
- margins: top – 2.5 cm, bottom – 2.5 cm, left – 2.5 cm, right – 1.5 cm; pages are not numbered;
- the article must be prepared in the Word for Windows text editor: font Times New Roman, size 14 pt, line spacing – 1.5;
- tables and figures must be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals; notes to tables should be provided only in the text; figures must be captioned below; captions for tables and figures should be centered;
- formulas should be created using the built-in Microsoft Equation editor or MathType in Word.
The text should be arranged in the following order:
- UDC index, aligned to the left;
- First name LAST NAME of the author(s), aligned to the right;
- academic degree and title, place of work, ORCID, email address, aligned to the right;
- TITLE OF THE ARTICLE in Ukrainian, in capital letters, centered;
- Abstracts and keywords (5–7 words):
- in the original language of the article (up to 800 characters with spaces);
- extended abstract in English (for English- and Polish-language articles – in Ukrainian) (1800 characters with spaces);
- main text of the article;
- the list of cited literature must be arranged alphabetically after the text and numbered; references in the text should be indicated in square brackets, for example: [5, p. 56]; the bibliographic description must be provided in two forms: “Literature” in accordance with the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302:2015 and “References.”
- citation in the text and inclusion in bibliographic lists of sources published in Russian are prohibited in the journal “Psychology Travelogs.”
Mandatory components of the article:
- Problem statement in general form;
- Analysis of recent research or publications that initiated the solution of the problem and on which the author relies. Identification of previously unresolved parts of the general problem addressed in the article;
- Formulation of the purpose of the article;
- Presentation of the main research material with full justification of the obtained scientific results;
- Conclusions and prospects for further research;
- Literature / References.
Articles published in the journal are assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier), which is provided to each article by the editorial board.
